Anti-harassment

We have a zero-tolerance approach to harassment.

We require all attendees to be mindful to avoid behaviours that are inappropriate in regards to: race, ethnicity, creed, gender (including pregnancy, perceived pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, or related medical conditions), gender identity, religion (including religious dress), marital status, domestic partner status, genetic information, age, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Inappropriate behaviour can take many forms such as: slurs; jokes; derogatory statements; foul or obscene language; offensive clothing; nudity; leering; stalking; staring; gestures; pictures, drawings or cartoons; violating personal space by impeding or blocking another person's movement or otherwise physically interfering with them; harassing photography or recordings; unwanted or offensive letters or poems; offensive email or voicemail messages; or social media postings.

If you are asked to stop behaving inappropriately, you should comply immediately. If you see or are the target of inappropriate behaviour or language, please contact one of the Summit organisers (we'll be wearing WHITE lanyards) and we will take appropriate action to ensure the event maintains a safe and constructive environment.

The consequences of such behaviour may include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Being immediately removed from the event.
  • Access to future events will be limited/denied.

In 2020 we were the first public sector conference in the UK to get industry-recognised certification by Diversity & Inclusion at Conferences and Events (DICE).20.01_Dice_Stamp_certififed_recommended_1_1
